Our 25,000-square-foot Ottumwa facility brings the entire fabrication process under one roof. From the first measurements in your home to digital slab layout, robotic cutting, CNC machining, and final hand finishing, every step is built around accuracy, consistency, and control.

- Slab scanningOur 12K High-resolution slab scans allow us to see the actual stone on screen, position parts, follow veining, and plan seams before anything is cut.
- Robotic saw & waterjetOur robotic cutting system combines saw and waterjet technology to produce precise straight cuts, curves, angles, and complex shapes directly from the digital layout.
- CNC fabricationSink openings, edge profiles, faucet holes, and other details are machined with computer-controlled precision for consistent results from piece to piece.

Phenix Marble
An American quarry with a long history.
In 1884, a railroad cut through Greene County, Missouri, revealed the stone deposit at Phenix. By 1905, it was being quarried and polished as marble. Napoleon Gray would later appear in the trading room of the New York Stock Exchange and the entrance to San Francisco’s Legion of Honor.
After decades of silence, the historic quarry is producing once again. We stock Napoleon and Fleuri in Ottumwa and fabricate each piece in our own shop.

Cutting and polishing stone takes a tremendous amount of water. Our filtration system captures every drop of water used throughout fabrication, cleans it, and returns it to production. Instead of continuously consuming fresh water, we keep ours circulating through the plant — effectively eliminating process-water waste.

What’s left becomes something useful.
Countertop fabrication inevitably creates offcuts and stone waste. Ours doesn’t go to waste. We partner with a local Ottumwa business to repurpose 100% of our stone waste into landscaping stone, giving material that can’t become a countertop a second life.

We stock a broad selection of quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, and other natural stone at our Ottumwa facility. Some projects call for a consistent color that can be reordered again and again. Others start with one remarkable slab that may never come through our doors twice. We work with both.

No two slabs of granite are exactly alike, and we think that is the point. Our natural stone is selected and sold from full slabs, so you can see the movement, color, and character of the stone before we ever cut it. Once selected, your slab is digitally laid out and fabricated in our Ottumwa shop using robotic and CNC equipment, with final details finished by hand.

Some projects deserve something you won't see in every other kitchen. We keep a rotating collection of quartzite and distinctive natural stone sourced in limited quantities from around the world. These slabs are chosen for their color, movement, and character rather than their ability to be reordered indefinitely. Our Exotic Gallery shows what is actually available in Ottumwa now. When a slab is gone, it may be gone for good.
